I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
